Micro challenge 3
Team RCMI take 2 wins and two 3rds at the 3rd Micro Challenge!
Carl: Took 1st in the 1/16th class and 1st in the B final of the 1/18th brushed class.
Glenn: Took 3rd in the 1/16th class.
Dan: Took 3rd in the Monster class.
Me: I had a bad day with my tie rods and steering arm.

The Team
What's the team been up to?
Glenn
Glenn has mainly been testing the Stock Mini Inferno for me (you can read what he's been up to here) and Glenn will also be running the stock Mini Inferno at the Micro Challenge in March.
Carl
Carl's painting skills are getting better by the week and is Blaze is now ready.
Dan
Dan's also been racing.
Here's a right up from the Hereford open meeting -
Practice - All went well, the car was set up quite nicely for
the track and with the INOPO motor in it had a good range of punch and top
end.
Heat 1 - Car repeated going well, achieved 2nd Fastest Micro
behind Stephan Davies sponsored by Yokomo & Team Scream
Heat 2 - After a couple of laps the pinion shifted backwards
locking onto the motor stopping the car from moving
Heat 3 - Same happened after the 3rd corner!
Heat 4 - Race went well, Achieved fastest time of the day,
2nd was my Dad who was 10 seconds behind followed by 3rd Stephan Davies.
Final - Final went smooth, lead from start to finish with Stephan Davies coming 2nd. For coming 1st I took home the 1st place A-final Micro Trophy

Team RCMI would like to welcome our new team member Dan
Osborne
We are looking forward to working very closely over the coming months with Dan,
as we start our move into the 1/18th class and hopefully Dan will also enjoy his
time racing for Team rcmi.

At the Micro challenge 2 Dan raced in the 1/18th class Brushed and finished 3rd in the A finals.
